What speed is your train going? |

This page provides a simple method for calculating the scale speed of your model train
Three simple steps.
1. Download and print the sheet for your scale 2. Measure out a 3 metre or 4 metre length of track, preferably straight. 3. Time the train over that interval and read off the speed from the chart.
Right click and save as N scale (1:150 ) (close enough for use with 1:160)
HO scale (1:87) American, Australia, European
